Roederer Estate:
A sparkling new website for a historic sparkling producer

Problem

When Roederer Estate prepared to reintroduce itself with refreshed branding and a newly redeveloped tasting room, their digital presence needed to meet the moment. They needed a site that looked exceptional, performed reliably, and made it easy for visitors to explore and buy, and that a busy hospitality team could manage on its own.

Background

Roederer Estate is one of Anderson Valley’s most recognized sparkling producers—and the California extension of Champagne Louis Roederer. The new site had to launch with the new branding, ahead of the reopening of the renovated property, and it came with a move to Commerce7. We began discovery in January 2025.

Solution

5forests led the migration to Commerce7, ensuring the new platform could support both DTC sales and on-site traffic. We streamlined product content to maximize Commerce7’s capabilities, carefully wrote and structured content to support local SEO (crucial in a less-traveled wine region), and embedded subtle visual details throughout the site to reinforce the brand’s new look and feel.

Equally important: the site had to be easy for a busy hospitality team to manage. Our content workflows, interface choices, and documentation were all built to ensure that the Roederer team could jump in and keep moving—without extra friction.

Ready for the reopening

Roederer Estate was reintroducing itself with a new look and a renovated tasting room, and the website had to be ready for both. We ran the design, the build and the move to Commerce7 side by side, from discovery in January 2025 to launch that spring.

Commerce7 migration

Led the migration to Commerce7 and streamlined the product content to make full use of the platform.

Website design

Designed the site around the refreshed branding, with subtle visual details that carry its new look and feel.

Local SEO

Wrote and structured the content for local search, so visitors can find a winery in a less-traveled region.

Team workflows

Built the content workflows, interface choices and documentation so the hospitality team can run the site themselves.
