Argyle Winery:
A digital rebuild rooted in place, people, and purpose

Problem

Argyle pioneered méthode traditionnelle sparkling wine in the Willamette Valley and is one of Oregon’s most respected producers. Its old website said none of that. It was outdated and inflexible, long past its prime, and gave no sense of the land, the people or the history behind the wines. Argyle needed a site that sold wine and felt like Argyle.

Background

We began with three days in Dundee. We met the hospitality staff, the club managers, the winemakers, the marketing team and the vineyard crew, walked the property, sat in on tastings and asked a lot of questions. By the end we had a complete picture of what Argyle means to its team, its region and its customers, and that picture shaped every decision that followed.

Solution

We rebuilt the site from the ground up on Commerce7 to carry Argyle’s direct-to-consumer strategy: the wine club, the online store, the stories behind the wines and the campaigns. Navigation is clean, the design is built for speed and the systems scale, so the Argyle team uses the site every day as a working tool. It reflects the winery’s legacy and its ambition in equal measure, and gives the team what it needs to carry both forward.

“5forests’ curiosity and expertise made our website project smooth and easy. From onboarding to launch, they demonstrated a level of professionalism that gave us confidence in our site. No detail was overlooked and no question was trivial. I can easily recommend their work to colleagues and know they will share the same experience.”
