Commerce7 websites built by the agency Commerce7 trusts

5forests has worked with Commerce7 since its earliest days, helping wineries build faster Commerce7 sites that sell more wine. We’re a Commerce7 Platinum Partner, the team behind Commerce7 for WordPress, and the agency Commerce7 chose to build its own website. Whether you’re migrating to Commerce7, replacing an underperforming site, or building something the standard integration cannot handle, our team brings years of platform experience to every project.

We helped shape the Commerce7 ecosystem

We’ve been part of the Commerce7 ecosystem since its earliest days, building the tools, websites and platform expertise that now support more than 1,000 wineries. Every Commerce7 site we build draws on that history, and these are the parts of it that matter most when you choose who builds yours.

Commerce7 Platinum Partner

Platinum is the highest of Commerce7’s three website partner tiers, for its most experienced partners: a long track record of successful launches, deep platform expertise, strong client satisfaction and active support for the wider partner community.

Working with Commerce7 since the beginning

We’ve worked with Commerce7 since the platform’s early years, giving our team experience that goes far beyond documentation and standard integrations.

The team behind “Commerce7 for WordPress”

Our integration connects Commerce7 with WordPress and is now used by more than 1,000 wineries worldwide.

Designers and developers in-house

Our designers and developers work side by side, so no part of your Commerce7 project gets passed between vendors.

Trusted by Commerce7 itself

When Commerce7 needed a new website of its own, they selected 5forests to design and build it.

Commerce7 for enterprise wineries

Some Commerce7 projects are straightforward. Others involve years of customer data, multiple clubs, reservations, custom product experiences, unusual integrations, international requirements, analytics systems, SEO migrations and business processes that can’t simply be switched off on launch day.

When Commerce7 gets complicated, that’s when we get involved. Those are the projects we particularly enjoy.

A Commerce7 website should do more than process transactions

Commerce7 gives wineries an excellent foundation for ecommerce, clubs, reservations and customer data. But the platform alone doesn’t determine whether your website succeeds. We design the experience around the things that grow a DTC wine business: making your wine easier to discover, buy, visit, book, and join.

Sell more wine

Remove friction from discovery, shopping and checkout while creating better paths from marketing campaigns to purchase.

Grow wine club membership

Make club benefits, tiers and member experiences clearer so joining feels easy and membership feels valuable.

Drive tasting room visits

Build reservations and visitation into the customer journey instead of treating them as disconnected widgets.

Bring buyers back

Show club members, first-time buyers and lapsed customers the content that fits them, so they buy and visit again and again.

Make marketing measurable

Proper analytics, attribution and ecommerce tracking give your team a clearer picture of what is producing revenue.

We make Commerce7 better

Most Commerce7 websites use the same front-end integration. Our custom websites don’t.

Over years of building Commerce7 websites, we’ve developed our own Enhanced Commerce7 for WordPress integration to solve problems the standard implementation leaves behind. That gives our clients capabilities most Commerce7 websites don’t have.

Customers can search your wines, event tickets and collections with WordPress’s built-in search.

Social sharing

Improve your social shares with full product data and images, created automatically for you.

Faster Google crawling

Our unique integration will ensure Google can crawl your ecommerce data faster than the competition.

Event tickets

We build Commerce7’s Event Ticket options into a full events calendar, so customers can find and buy tickets more easily.

Product feeds

We send your product catalog to Google and Facebook, so your wines can appear in Google search results and in Facebook and Instagram ads.

Speed

We build every Commerce7 site from the ground up for speed: optimized servers, custom themes and plugins, and next-generation caching.

Search engine optimized

Help search engines and other platforms understand your data with full schema markup and meta tags on all Commerce7 pages.

Accessibility

We build to accessibility best practice from the start, and we never patch it on afterwards with an overlay plugin. Every site is tested by real people, because real people use it.

AI and search visibility

Server-rendered product and collection information gives search engines and AI systems meaningful product content without relying entirely on client-side JavaScript.

Built for your marketing team

Commerce7 data and WordPress content work together without turning ordinary site updates into development projects.

A platform that can evolve

Because the integration is ours, we’re not limited to whatever functionality an off-the-shelf integration happens to provide.

Benefits of the Enhanced Commerce7 for WordPress integration

These six features come from our Enhanced Commerce7 for WordPress integration, and each one solves a problem the standard implementation leaves behind.

Search matters on any website, and on an ecommerce site it decides whether people find the wine they came for. We built a Commerce7-powered website integration with full searching ability, something most (if not all) other Commerce7 sites lack.

Using our custom integration, your customers can now search for their favorite wine right on your website using the built-in WordPress search.

With the added benefit of full product searching, the sitelinks search box schema will not only help businesses get a search box on 1st position SERPs, but that search box will actually produce search results relevant to shoppers.

Better social sharing of Commerce7 products

Social media is where many wineries’ customers share what they drink. With 5forests, your Commerce7 product pages have full Open Graph information, meaning your products will show an accurate image, title, and description when shared on social media.

Our implementation also automatically creates these specially formatted images for sharing, meaning you will never have to spend the time or money on manually creating your own for each product.

This social sharing data is also available on collection pages and club pages, a first for Commerce7 websites.

Wine is a social product, so presenting your products visually and accurately on social media is a critical element of success.

Help Google discover new and updated products faster

The ability to deliver new and updated products directly to search engines like Google has a direct effect on your DTC growth.

At 5forests, we take every SEO advantage we can find. Our implementation uniquely puts all of your product’s content into the source of the page at the server level. What that means is Google sees all of your wine’s product information, from the title to images to the full product details, the very first time they visit the page.

By contrast, on a normal integration, your product page is almost completely empty on Google’s first visit! No product images, no title, no content whatsoever until Google processes the extra code on their second attempt (which can be days or weeks later).

Enhanced Google search results with product-specific data

Search engines read a special code called schema data on websites to better understand the specific information on web pages. This allows them to provide that extra information directly in the search results (like reviews, price, and availability), which tends to bring more clicks to your results. 5forests’ Commerce7 integration is the only commercially available solution to provide wineries with full ecommerce product schema data.

Other agencies? Your products might not even index in Google.

Commerce7 personalization, built in the block editor

Personalized content is easy to build and easy to design on our Commerce7 sites. Create the personalization block in Commerce7 once, then build every version of it in WordPress, using the block editor your team already knows.

That means every block is available to your personalized content: images, lists, buttons, quotes, and anything else you’d use on a page. Show your club members a feature on the next release with a button to reserve it, greet first-time visitors with a quote from a happy guest, or give lapsed buyers an image and a reason to come back. Each version is built like any other page on your site, so it looks like your site, and you can change it whenever you like.

On a standard Commerce7 site, each version is built in Commerce7’s own content editor, which handles text and images and sits apart from the design of your website.

It works in your collection grids too, with callouts that target shoppers at every stage, from newsletter sign-ups to club upsells, so that space does more than hold an add-to-cart button.

Customer-oriented event ticket experience

Commerce7’s Event Ticket add-on allows you to create events as products inside Commerce7. These special products will email a barcode ticket to the customer for easy check-in at your event with a supported code scanner.

To a customer, by default, these are just products… no different than wine or merchandise. There is no event calendar, no special ability to filter them, no date display.

At 5forests, we integrate Event Tickets with an event ticket plugin to give your users a better experience on your website. Customers can still buy event tickets and wine in the same cart, and they also see an intuitive view of your upcoming events.

There are a lot of agencies that can build a Commerce7 website.
There are very few that know Commerce7 like we do.

We’ve migrated more than 100 wineries to Commerce7, and we built the WordPress integration that more than 1,000 wineries use. If Commerce7 is central to your DTC business, your website deserves the same level of expertise.

Questions about Commerce7 websites

Why should I choose a Commerce7 Platinum Partner for my winery website?

A Platinum Partner has deep experience working with Commerce7 and has demonstrated a strong track record delivering projects on the platform. 5forests has worked with Commerce7 since its early years, has migrated more than 100 winery websites to Commerce7, and was selected by Commerce7 to build its own corporate website.

What is the best website platform for a winery using Commerce7?

For many wineries, WordPress and Commerce7 are a strong combination. Commerce7 manages ecommerce, wine clubs, reservations and customer data, while WordPress gives your marketing team much more flexibility over content, SEO, design and ongoing website updates. 5forests builds custom WordPress websites specifically around Commerce7.

Can you migrate my winery website to Commerce7?

Yes. We handle migrations from platforms such as WineDirect, WooCommerce, Shopify and other legacy winery systems. A successful Commerce7 migration should account for more than products and customers. It also needs to protect SEO, analytics, club journeys, reservations, URLs, integrations and the overall customer experience.

What makes a 5forests Commerce7 website different from a standard Commerce7 website?

We use our own enhanced Commerce7 and WordPress integration, developed from years of working directly with the platform. It gives wineries capabilities such as server-rendered product content, improved search visibility, product schema, on-site product search, better social sharing, event ticket integrations and greater flexibility for custom development.

Can a better Commerce7 website increase winery sales and club memberships?

A website cannot guarantee revenue growth, but a better Commerce7 implementation can remove friction from shopping, club enrollment, reservations and other high-value customer journeys. We design Commerce7 websites around conversion, usability, performance and measurement so wineries can continuously improve how their website contributes to DTC revenue.
