Kith & kin cellars:
A brand and trade website for Round Pond’s sister label
Problem
Kith & Kin is sold in shops across the country, so its website has two audiences. Buyers and distributors come for a tech sheet, a bottle shot or a shelf talker. Drinkers who have found a bottle come to learn who makes it and why. The old site served neither well.
Background
Kith & Kin, Old English for “friends and family,” is the MacDonnell family’s Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon, sourced from across the valley, and its Russian River Valley Chardonnay. Kith & Kin gives a portion of every bottle sold to the Alzheimer’s Association, in honor of the family’s founder, Bob MacDonnell. When we rebuilt Round Pond’s website in 2026, Kith & Kin moved with it.
Solution
We moved Kith & Kin onto the same system as the new Round Pond site, a custom WordPress theme with our enhanced Commerce7 integration, and gave each page in its short menu one clear job. Trade & Sales Tools holds the tech sheets, bottle shots, shelf talkers, waiter cards, labels and accolades for each wine by vintage, in digital and print versions. About and Our Mission tell the family’s story and its Alzheimer’s work in the family’s own words and photographs. Shop goes to Round Pond’s site, where we customized the Kith & Kin collection and product pages to carry Kith & Kin’s branding.
