[Bordeaux | April 22, 2025] — 5forests, the award-winning marketing agency for the wine industry, has launched The Wine Marketer’s Radar, a new weekly series built to keep wine marketers ahead of the curve by spotlighting the consumer, tech, and business trends shaping how people buy, think, and connect with brands—whether the wine world is watching or not.
With four episodes already live on YouTube, TikTok, Spotify, and Apple Podcasts, The Wine Marketer’s Radar is already drawing attention for its sharp, no-nonsense analysis of the real-world shifts impacting wine sales, marketing, and brand relevance.
Each 5–7 minute episode distills high-impact stories from outside the wine world—tech, retail, media, and culture—into smart, actionable takeaways for DTC teams, brand managers, and strategic decision-makers.
“Too often, wine marketing operates in a silo,” said Polly Hammond, Founder and CEO of 5forests. “We’re helping wineries see what strategic brands in other industries are already doing—and what wine businesses need to know to keep up.”
Unlike traditional industry roundups, The Radar curates and analyzes trends from beyond the wine world—spotlighting how people are shopping, socializing, and spending—and translating that into insight wine brands can use.
“There’s no shortage of wine podcasts right now,” Hammond added. “But The Radar is built for busy wine leaders who need relevant, strategic insight fast. This is the news wine needs to know, but probably isn’t hearing anywhere else.”
Each episode answers:
- What’s happening across tech, retail, media, or regulation
- Why it matters for the wine business
- How it connects to brand, DTC, and marketing strategy
- What action wine professionals can take
In addition to these weekly briefings, Hammond—who has hosted over 100 episodes of industry-leading wine and marketing podcasts—will release longform interviews with thought leaders outside of wine. These episodes will feature bold voices and ideas the wine industry needs to learn from to stay relevant in a changing market. The Wine Marketer’s Radar is free to watch or listen, with new episodes released weekly across all major platforms.
