Argyle Winery is one of Oregon’s most respected producers—known not just for pioneering méthode traditionnelle sparkling in the Willamette Valley, but for its deep connection to land, legacy, and innovation. But their old website didn’t reflect any of that. It was outdated, inflexible, and long past its prime.

5forests was brought in to create something far more intentional: a digital experience that not only sells wine, but feels like Argyle.

We began with a three-day immersion in Dundee. We met with hospitality staff, club managers, winemakers, marketing, vineyard crew—the people behind the brand. We walked the property. Sat in on tastings. Asked questions. And through that, we built a complete picture of what Argyle means to its team, its region, and its customers.

That groundwork shaped everything. The site was rebuilt from the ground up on Commerce7 to support their evolving DTC strategy, from wine club and e-commerce to storytelling and campaign integration. Clean navigation, performance-first design, and scalable systems ensure the site isn’t just a digital front door, but a tool the Argyle team can use every day.
