A Commerce7 migration grounded in strategy, design, and enablement
As part of a multi-brand engagement with Andrew Peller Limited, 5forests worked alongside internal teams over the course of a year to plan and implement a seamless migration to Commerce7. Our role began long before development—with deep discovery, cross-department workshops, and platform scoping designed to set the foundation for long-term success.

For Black Hills Estate Winery—home of the legendary Nota Bene—we designed a site that reflects its position as a Canadian icon: bold, premium, and purposeful. From visual design to content structure, every decision was made to showcase the wines, support DTC sales, and honor the estate’s reputation for quality.
We also led extensive staff training across departments to ensure the Black Hills team could confidently manage the site post-launch. Built alongside another of APL’s brand sites, this project showcased not just design, but system-level thinking, platform expertise, and cross-functional collaboration.
