Bonterra Organic Estates came to 5forests not for a redesign, but for a rescue. As the country’s leading organic winery, Bonterra needed a digital presence that could support their values, their scale, and their goals—but their site wasn’t getting them there.

Over the course of a year, we worked behind the scenes to triage technical issues, support campaigns, and address bottlenecks created by a problematic build. From there, we were given the green light to rebuild key aspects of the site—this time with a focus on accessibility, speed, and ease of internal management.

Using real user behavior data, we refined the site architecture and UX to better support Bonterra’s direct-to-consumer goals, while making the backend more intuitive for their internal team. The result is a platform that now works for the brand—scalable, stable, and aligned with the winery’s long-term digital strategy.
